Models with the arithmetic shown

Eleven working spreadsheets in three bundles. Not reporting templates. Each one takes a number founders quote from memory and shows the calculation underneath it, including the part the usual version leaves out. Free. Yours in one email.

Three tools that run in the browser

The workbooks above are for numbers you already have. These three are for a decision you have not made yet. Each one is capable of telling you not to proceed.

Three toolkits

The rule, so you are not guessing: anything that gives you a diagnosis is ungated. Anything you take away and work in asks for an email. The gate is about format, not about which ones are good.

01

The Growth Models

Five models for the numbers investors will interrogate. Segment choice, growth engine, funnel, runway, evidence.

  • Beachhead Score, with two criteria set as vetoes
  • Growth Engine Model, sticky against viral against paid
  • Compounded Funnel, priced per stage
  • Runway and Milestone Ladder, stepped burn
  • Evidence Dashboard, returns NO VERDICT when unearned

The GTM Toolkit

Three workbooks for running go to market as experiments, with the pass mark written before the result is known.

  • Growth Experiment Log, verdicts locked to prior thresholds

Questions

Before you download

What do these actually cost

Nothing. They are free, and they stay free. You give an email address so the download link can reach you, and so you can be told when a workbook is corrected.

What format are they

Excel workbooks, .xlsx, in a zip with a README. They open in Excel, Numbers, LibreOffice and Google Sheets. Formulas survive the import in all four, though Sheets renders conditional formatting slightly differently.

Do I need all three bundles

No. Take the one that matches the decision in front of you. If you are choosing a segment or preparing to raise, take the Growth Models. If you are running experiments, take the GTM Toolkit. If you already report numbers you are not sure about, take the Decision Tools.

Will you email me constantly

No. The download link, and a note if a workbook gets corrected. The weekly Dispatch is a separate opt-in you tick or leave.

My download link expired

Links last 24 hours. Submit the form again and a fresh one arrives. Nothing is lost.

Pick one decision and model it

Not all three bundles. One decision you are actually facing this month. Open the workbook that fits it, fill the yellow cells, and check the Sensitivity sheet before you believe the answer.
